Notice how the artist painted a column in the mural. I believe it was a technique implied deliberately by the artist to provide scale of the being lounging against the wall. The head of the giant aligns with the top column edge. Average Etruscan column's were three times a man's height. It's pretty easy to break down the math, but its clear this giant stood some where close to 30ft. |
