Forces of Darkness at Work- and the Schedule They Keep

February 1, 2003

We all pray for those touched by the Columbia tragedy.

I had previously mentioned the significance of January 31st and the pagan feast of Hecate. According to the myth behind the worship of these goddesses:

January 31st is the Night that Hecate hands her torch to Brigid, whose arrival is celebrated at Imbolc Feb 1st.

Hecate carries the torch through the dark half of the year, while Brigid takes it for the light half. It is sometimes said that these goddesses are sisters of fire. They share the same symbols as Hephastus, Mulcibar or Vulcan, of smithing tools and fire. Ancient historians described the fall of these "fire gods and goddesses" and their images from the heavens. There is however a more startling connection between the fall of a fiery star from heaven on the morning of Brigid feast following the Eve of the feast of Hecate- The name of the flaming star itself, (Columbia)

A "columb" is a dove- in Latin. The dove is used esoterically in the mystery schools for the symbol of the great goddess. This is because the great "virgin" goddess carries a branch, as does the dove of Noah. As a branch bearer the dove and the goddess represent the holder of a part of the tree of knowledge- the premiere focus of the mystery schools.

All illuminated refer to themselves as "sons of the widow" or like Horus, the son of Isis, immaculately conceived bearer of secret knowledge. A Columb is a consistent symbol of all the goddesses of wisdom, Athena- Minerva, Aphrodite- Isis, Ceres, Diana etc.

Acts 19:35 And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, [Ye] men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the [image] which fell down from Jupiter?

The image, the goddess and the fire all converge into one point in history according to the mystery religions, the giving of "light-wisdom" to the goddess, Eve.

It is along these same lines that the new program to send men to Mars is conceived, the "Prometheus program". In ancient Rome, February 1st is the feast day of Juno, mother of Mars.

"Prometheus, you are glad that you have outwitted me and stolen fire ... but I will give men as the price for fire an evil thing in which they may all be glad of heart while they embrace their own destruction." [Zeus to Prometheus 1. Hesiod, Works and Days 55]

There are forces at work in world events that far surpass any human agency.
