Five Pak Soldiers Killed in Indian Shelling

Five Pakistani soldiers were killed and one of their forward posts damaged across the Line of Control in a retaliatory action by Indian troops in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir today, defence sources said.
Pakistani troops targetted Khari-Karmara, Kalsian, Ajote and Digwar with mortar shelling this afternoon, they said.
Indian troops retaliated and the exchange between the two sides continued for several hours, the sources said, adding five Pakistani soldiers were killed and their 'Chuha Post' was damaged.
A junior commissioned officer (JCO) also sustained serious injuries on the Indian side at one forward post of Ajote area.
Meanwhile, intermittent exchange of small arms firing between the two sides was reported at a few places along the International Border during last the 24 hours, the sources said.
There was no casuality or damage on the Indian side, they added.
