Pak Has Enough Grounds For Pre-Emptive Strike Against India: Rasheed

April 8, 2003

BALAKOT, Pakistan (PNS) - Information Minister, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that Pakistan has enough grounds for pre-emptive strike against India.

He said this while addressing a large public gathering here on Monday. " India is producing weapons of mass destruction and stocking these weapons in a neigbouring country ," he said adding that India was also involved in the massacre of innocent people in Gujrat and Indian held Kashmir.

He said these grounds were enough for Pakistan to take action against a rogue state. He said India used force against Sikhs and attack on Golden Temples and also involved in the carnage of other minorities.

Sheikh said India has not courage to attack on Pakistan but if Indian rulers dared to attack on Pakistan, they would be given befitting reply. He made it clear that India would not be on the earth if attacked on Pakistan.

The Minister made it clear that we are not afraid of the US and both the countries are enjoying very good relations. He assured the residents of the area that the government was envisaging a comprehensive strategy to end poverty and provide justice in the country.
