Update on the Death of the Two Scientists This Week

Hello Steve: OK, here is what I have now.

1. Dr. Robert E. Shope is purported to have died of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. I looked up Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and found that it can be caused by either environmental stimulus or a VIRUS. Given the fact that Dr. Shope worked with some of the most hazardous viruses known to man, my best guess is the virus trigger. Of course, was there an added trigger to cause his death. His lungs would have been weakened by 10 years of IPF.

2. Dr. Mike P. Kiley is purported to have died of a heart attack. I don't believe that autopsies will be performed on either as cause of death has been determined. Of course I am wondering about the cause of the cause of death of the two men.

Here is where it gets good.

Connection between the two: Dr. Shope led the group of scientists who had an 11 MILLION dollar fed grant to ensure the new lab would keep in the nasty bugs. Dr. Shope also met with and worked with Dr. Mike Kiley on the UTMB Galveston lab upgrade to BSL 4. When the upgrade would be complete the lab will host the most hazardous pathogens known to man especially tropical and emerging diseases as well as bioweapons.

Dr. Shope former USAMRIID Ft. Detrick scientist, Rockefeller Foundation, WHO, Yaleand who battled hot viruses around the world. Dr. Shope left Yale in 1995 after a few controversies. He had forgot that he had "samples" in his pocket and left the lab. There were also two accidents under his tenure at Yale, one in which Sabin virus infected a lab worker. The worker did not go to hospital until he took ill thus putting people at risk.

I don't have much on Dr. Kiley so, if you can get some background, I would appreciate it. He was biocontainment officer for Homeland Security, formerly of USDA/ARS/APHIS. I did put him on the spot during my West Nile Virus investigation when I publicized the BSL 5 at Plum Island. Dr. Kiley did admit to me on the phone that Plum Island was a BSL 5. Ms. Hays kept denying it until Dr. Kiley affirmed it. I am trying to find out if he, too was a Ft. Detrick scientist.

There is enough information coming out that demands a closer look into the two deaths. BTW, when you do a C2C please feel free to bring up this latest information. The most important thing is that these anomolies get to the public.
