DALLAS -- Interstate 30 at Industrial, just south of downtown, is shut down.

A tanker truck carrying 6,000 gallons of fuel overturned, leaking fuel onto the road.

Hazmat crews rushed to the scene, and were working to contain the spill, NBC 5 News reported.

At least one person was sent to the hospital. The extent of the injury was not known as of 3 p.m.

Interstate 30 remained closed as of 3 p.m., according to police officials.
