Seattle Power Outage Leaves 10,000 Customers In Dark

May 12, 2004

SEATTLE -- The power came back on for about 10,000 Seattle City Light customers at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday.

Seattle City Light spokesman Larry Vogel says power was out for an hour-and-a-half for customers in the Lower Queen Anne, Magnolia and Interbay areas.

It was caused by a faulty breaker at the Broad Street substation, he said.
