Compared to the news management capability of the Saudi Royal Family, the distortion of news events within the oil kingdom by Fox News pales in comparison.
The Saudis allow terrorists to escape under dubious circumstances then claim to have shot a few "suspects" (see story below) a short time after.
If it were not so close to an election, there is a strong possibility that regular US troops would be a present in Saudi Arabia as they are now in Iraq. Yes, it is well known that US Special Forces are operating in Saudi Arabia, albeit keeping a very low profile.
Those who do not believe this is World War III will in time have their St. Thomas doubts rudely set straight. There is little doubt that when it pleases the hostile opposition, the US mainland and Europe will experience al Qaeda attacks using either nuclear or biological weapons. About this, US presidential hopeful, John Kerry is correct. His timing for protective action, however, is wildly optimistic.
The Saudi Royal Family is a classic target for insurgency with their huge wealth including property, Swiss bank accounts and privileged leaders who are not averse to flaunting their wealth to lesser mortals.
Saudi Arabia is Rome on its last days. All menial labor is done by imported Asian expats. Most technical jobs in the oil industry are manned by highly paid western expats. The gap between the Saudi poor and the super privileged is larger than 100 Grand Canyons. To make matters worse, the 2000 members of the Saudi Royal Family wear their privilege publicly like badges of honor.
Yet most of us in the West pay only minor lip service to the risk that exists in our own societies. These risks include goods that everyone needs to survive (energy) and the financial settlement mechanisms in the marketplace.
Wake up for your own sake. This is the Third World War where the battlefield is everywhere. You are living in the most dangerous era since World War II and by ignoring the risk you are reducing the opportunity to take defensive actions.
I give you the direction in gold that you seek and warn you of a danger that supersedes your interest in gold. Yes, gold will protect you financially but the risk you face is much greater than simply financial. There is a mountain of inflation coming at the West thanks to its lack of financial discipline in the face of World War III.
A gallon of milk now costs $4.43 and auto gas is now selling for $2.40 a gallon here in CT and nearly $3 on the coast. This is going to impact the US dollar like a jackhammer hitting you over the head.
This depraved political venture into massive guns and butter will cost you and your family dearly for generations to come. This War is both economic and military.
Oil and the US dollar are instruments of war and also targets- in that order. The battlefield is everywhere and there is no end in sight. The hand over of so-called "government" in IRAQ is window dressing and presents a clear target for the opposition.
If a true populist vote was to occur today in Iraq do you really believe the interests of the West would be served? What has been well thought out in this chapter of human failure? For your sake WAKE UP!
Gold is headed to $529 now for economic and geopolitical reasons and has been since $342. What advisor with deep industry credentials and known for balanced reason in different market conditions has given you correct guidance?
How have these advisors of the "trade everything always" school benefited many or you? What protection do you have from the cost of everything skyrocketing as the business recovery rolls over and fails in 2005 - 2006? How secure is your income?
Why were you going crazy trying to sell gold yesterday on the 200 day moving average when you have seen that the easiest strategy of trading in gold has been to simply buy weakness and sell 1/3 into strength TA correct? What advisor has taught you how to trade correctly? Are you eliminating your debt and building your hard assets other than paper assets? Is your home your major asset that can be rendered illiquid by a simple turn in the cost of money? If the value of your home declines are you under water due to your level of borrowing?
Is gold only another speculative game for you? Have you really done anything meaningful at all to protect yourself other than worry about it? Is your family your real asset? How many families easily survive severe economic hardship as a unit? For your sake WAKE UP today and STOP YOUR PERSONAL MADNESS.
Gold is your personal financial protection but the problem heading at you is even bigger than gold! How many one ounce gold coins are in your personal possession? What will you do when the utilities are turned off? Do you view utilities as a right or as a privilege? Have you been socialized to think like a Saudi Royal?

Saudi police kill two terror suspects
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Jun. 2 (UPI) -- Saudi authorities said Wednesday police killed two Muslim militants involved in a bloody weekend attack in eastern Saudi Arabia.
An interior ministry official said the terror supects, one of whom was disguised in women's clothes, were killed near the city of Taif in western Saudi Arabia after they had fled from Khobar in the east.
"Security forces were able to encircle them in the deserted al-Hada area between Taif and Mecca," the official said.
"The gunmen fired automatic rifles and threw grenades at police who returned fire killing them."
Suspected al-Qaida terrorists killed 22 people in an attack on a petroleum center in Khobar Saturday.
The two slain terrorists were identified as Abdel Rahman and Abdel Aziz al-Ghamidi.
One of them was among 26 wanted terrorists.
In the meantime, unidentified gunmen attacked two American expatriates south of the Saudi capital, Riyadh, Wednesday without harming them.
Witnesses said the assailants rode by in a car and fired at the U.S. nationals in front of a residential compound, then sped away. The U.S. embassy in Riyadh said the attacked Americans are U.S. army staff training Saudi national guards.
