On a dark deserted highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of anesthesia, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim.....
I felt a sting or a bite.....
There he stood in the doorway -- such an unearthly smell
And I was thinking to myself -- this can't be heaven, so it must be hell
Then he lit up a candle and took me away
Screams and moans down the corridor
I thought I heard him say.....
Welcome to the Hotel MK-ULTRA
Such a lovely place (what a dismal place)
We are in your face.....
Plenty of room at the Hotel MK-ULTRA
Any time of year (you forget your fear)
We will bring you here (we will keep you near)
The mind is definitely twisted -- you're alone with no defense
He's got lots of pretty little boys (that he calls "friends")
How they sway in the moonlight -- warm summer sweat
Some programmed to remember -- some programmed to forget.
So he called up the Doctor -- Please bring us a "line"
He said -- A little intravenous goes straight to the mind
And still his voice is calling from far away --
Beam you up in the middle of the night
Just to hear him say.....
Welcome to the Hotel MK-ULTRA
Such a lovely place (what a dismal place)
We are in your face.....
They'll split your mind at the Hotel MK-ULTRA
Take you by surprise (hear the childrens' cries)
Built-in alibis.....
Blinding lights on the ceiling -- put my soul on ice
And he said -- We are all just prisoners here -- sold out for a price
And on their master's altar -- another sacrificial feast
They stab it with their steely knives -- just to satisfy the Beast.....
Last thing I remember -- I was running for the door
I had to find the passage back to the place I was before.....
RELAX, said the nightman, YOU are programmed to BELIEVE --
You can check out anytime you like -- but you can never leave.
