Reality Violates Tranquil World of the Amish

Why Did God Allow the Mass Slaughter of
Innocent Children in Paradise, Pennsylvania?

Just under 150 one-room schools dot the landscape of Lancaster County Pennsylvania's Amish Community. Each morning a teacher reads from the Bible and students recite the Lord's prayer. Questions will now be raised of where was God? Why did He allow the slaughter of innocent children? Could it be a lesson in how the Bible says that instead of separating and excluding ourselves from the rest of the world, we are not to be a part of its godless lifestyle?

John 17:15 "I do not pray that You would take them out of the world,
but that You would keep them from the evil one (Satan)."

When America rejects God, the consequences for such actions affects the whole country. Penalties are paid and innocent children are mowed down in its deadly path.

Isaiah 59:1-2 "Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities (living contrary to God's instructions) have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that he will not hear."

When America repents on an individual and national basis, mass murders similar to what happened in a place called Paradise will not happen.

Joel 2:13 "And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth Him of the evil (God will change His mind if people will cry out to Him for help)."
