Intersections

History should be and actually is a cyclical series of events recorded throughout the known world of civilized time. It is a subject I have been fascinated with for decades and write about extensively, trying to wake the world up to the repetition which we are seeing now. No, I'm not Churchill, trying to warn everyone in 1934 of the dangers of National Socialism. I'm trying to teach everyone that Civilizations rise and fall, but the reason why is that humanity's frailty, it's pride that refuses to recognize the past, allows and creates mistakes from our history to be repeated.

Intersections, where events cross, are crucial points of history which move forward in one direction and collide with a mistake of the past, eventually change the course of mankind.

We are witnessing a series of intersections, colliding daily, weekly, and monthly now.

In 1906, Upton Sinclair wrote a stirring account called "The Jungle" in which the haphazard manner in which our foodstuffs were prepared for the mass market. Keep in mind that during that time period, mass communications were limited to basically newspapers and telegraphs, with limited telephone service as the average person was just beginning to emerge from the economic depression finally ended with the 1898 Spanish-American War. Now, in current day, we have a new crisis. Instead of paying what the jobs should demand based on the supply-demand curve and the current legal U.S. citizens and green card holders, we have elected to import a quasi-slave population to handle the jobs in our meat packing plants. While this might seem like no big deal to most because, after all, the meat always has that "USDA" stamp on it, the sanitary conditions and hygiene education of these illegals is well, lacking. And then you add the fact that the meat packers have to decide on the almighty dollar versus sanitation and well, you get the picture. But it's not just "meat". Look at the number of stories about food poisoning and contamination since the year 2000. The Cholera outbreak in Pittsburgh due to green onions from Mexico. Last year's lettuce and spinach E-coli contaminations. The famous "Jack-In-The-Box" E-coli outbreak. Getting the picture yet? Last year, per the BLS and Department of Commerce statistics, was another year where we, the United States imported more food than we exported. I don't think the demand for DAK hams when that high, so it's obviously a labor issue. God forbid we don't build a subdivision in Florida or California so we can grow our own food. I have been to Mexico and deep into the interior. There is no running water or sewage systems in most of that country. Yet parallel to the fields, where our green onions, tomatoes, oranges and other fruits grow are ditches filled with raw sewage. But our government assures us everything is safe. Do you eat what is in your toilet? Probably not. But you believe what they sell you in the store is safe, so what's the difference?

An intersection.

Our past crossing with our present.

But the sheep do not care. Unless their puddy tat dies.

Thank God, we're saved! The Democrats are in charge! This means the Republicans can be in charge next election! Hip-hip-hooray!

Does anyone, in their right freaking mind, honestly believe this is a positive? Do any of you who believe this have a pulse, one functioning brain cell or any moral base? Both parties, just like another time period have put themselves up for sale. They will do anything, for anyone, regardless of consequence or principle, to achieve personal and political goals, not for the greater good of the nation. This period which started in 1990 has lasted through today, 2007. When was the last time I can honestly say this has happened? 1850-1860.

How did that turn out?

Intersections.

Where we ignore our history by abdicating our responsibility to the future by allowing others to make life and death decisions for our children and our own defense who have no qualification and nothing but personal desire.

Despite the events of 9-11-01, our country has elected to go on a path of trying to codify the nations which financed the attack, and punish the nations which could never affect our geopolitical or economic well being. Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf Emirates financed, funded, and supplied the Taliban and Al Queda bases in Afghanistan for years. Yet we punished Iraq and Afghanistan by bombing them into oblivion without any plan to "win the peace". Sound like Vietnam? Nah. Sound like Korea? Nah. Sound like Czechoslovakia? Huh? What? What the hell am I talking about? Well, here is your education on INTERSECTIONS and history boys and girls.

What nations would benefit from our military being depleted? That's right, the ones for the last 50 years wanted us destroyed, China and Russia. They could never launch a frontal attack without triggering a rapid and destructive response. So they found the ally, the friends they wanted, the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" sitting in the radical Islamic world. While our hedonistic President did his business in the Oval Office over the 1990's, the enemies of this nation developed a plan. And it was a mutual interest attack plan for all. What happens when you are able to politically isolate a nation, unwilling to commit to a plan for total war, and inflict pain upon the civilians by scaring them away from confrontation and turning them into sheep?

Welcome to another INTERSECTION. One that could kill all of us.

In 1938, the British people were terrified of Herr Hitler. They wanted to avoid war at all cost as they recovered from the economic depression inflicted by their own greed and avarice (along with America's). So they found a sacrificial lamb: Czechoslovakia.

Israel and Taiwan will be the Sudetenland and Czechoslovakia of our time. We are preparing to sacrifice both nations in the cause of avoiding nuclear war. It will only postpone the obvious. Before all is said and done, unless Israel develops a backbone, Jerusalem will be Israel's Sudetenland and Taiwan our Czechoslovakia. We will not fight. We will again, appease, to prevent further attacks on our homeland. And the EU will laud us for "preserving the world peace" while our nation crumbles.

In the latter days of Rome, the "barbarians" were allowed into the Empire to prevent the collapse due to a lack of labor (Romans got fat, hedonistic and lazy; sound familiar?) and willingness to defend the Empire. How did that turn out? We know now. In current day America, the number of illegals and unverified immigrants serving in our military grows each year. The number of illegals working here is far in excess of the 12 million the main stream media would have you believe. The last Rand study I saw in 2005 estimated as many as 25 million possibly here. They have no loyalty to our country. Their loyalty is to family first. Despite the protestations of their leaders that they wish to be "Americans" the reality is obvious everywhere you look. We are not just being invaded, we are being divided. Yet we are told we are racists and pigs if we object. So as the illegals, both Christian and Muslim bring their nation's internal conflicts here, what will be the result?

Another intersection. Where the people die to serve a larger purpose. Too bad it's not for the national good. And God forbid we use the term "nationalism" to profess pride in our history. Himmler would be proud.

Lastly, I have to ask my readers a question; what do tulips and your home have in common? How about a Florida land boom in 1924 and a Florida boom in 2005? What about a "holding company" in 1928 and a "hedge fund" in 2006? Everything. History is in the process of repeating itself, but thanks to the mainstream media and the constantly poor understanding of money and history, the American and other citizens of the capitalist world are about to be taken to the cleaners and enslaved by the very "governments" they trust. This economic and debt bubble will be so devastating, so destructive to the family unit and so sad to watch as a spectator of history that I shall shed a tear for all who suffer.

Another intersection.

So ask yourself:

When the light turns green again, do you walk into traffic, like the ignorant sheep who walk into the slaughter? Or do you take the safe route, preparing yourself for history's lessons and the consequences of decades of excess.

Don't be road kill.

Prepare or perish.
