Hello Steve,
Just wanted to let you know that I am independent broker with LPL which is the largest independent brokerage firm in the world.
I find it interesting on a day like today when the powers that be buy the market up almost 300 points, all of us brokers are LPL were unable to log into the system all day. In other words we could not do anything for our clients, in fact we couldn't get onto the system at all.
I have been a broker for over 15 years, I have worked at all the major firms before going independent a year ago and I have have never experienced a computer outage for longer than an hour or so in my whole career.
I find it interesting on a day like today we brokers at the largest independent firm in the world are locked out ALL DAY.
God Bless... I believe we are within weeks from a major crash.
I am calling DOW 3500 within 12 months.
