Greetings:
If a terrorist or an agency of any government (including the US government), wanted to bring down a bridge for public terror, or for purposes of public or media diversion, ... this bridge was an excellent choice.
The bridge was built in the late 1960s. It was supported by six main concrete pillars. Compromise two or three of those points; and the weight of the steel and concrete in the bridge itself would provide the necessary leverage and forces for its own destruction. In this case, the bridge would necessarily break apart in sections based on the I-Beams under the road bed to which the supporting steel structure was attached.
Refer to the photos I have attached of the standing bridge -BEFORE- the collapse and of the bridge -AFTER- the collapse. The photos will make the above analysis immediately apparent.
I found it interesting that the MN-DOT (Department of Transportation) issued a statement almost immediately after the collapse saying that they had not been working on the steel structure underneath the bridge. They had recently been on the bridge repairing the road bed. Political Damage Control began immediately (as always).
I also found it interesting that the local MN news almost immediately declared that "there is nothing to suspect anything other than structural collapse". I ask - based on what ??????? What bridge concrete pillar and steel connection point forensics have been done already ??? In fact, there was no basis at all for such a statement. Declarations like that should never be made in the absence of any supporting facts.
No matter what the real reason is for the destruction of the bridge, the truth will not be told and we will not be given true evidence. There will not be a public release of forensic photo and lab analysis of the concrete in the bridge pillars, or of the steel at the connection points on those pillars. In reality, it is unlikely that any investigation of that type will ever be done. I hope I am wrong about this. But history predicts otherwise.
Truth is not demanded now; but instead is shunned (no longer valued). If people are not personally affected, things are treated as a movie. And the American press now commits itself to "tabloid" news. It no longer investigates, demands, and confirms -FACTS- and -TRUTH- !!!
