Hi Steve,

I took a look at the PDF file on your website with the aircraft descriptions. I am definitely not an expert, but the aircraft I saw looks like, probably the skyhawk on page 12 , and the Mig 31 foxhound on page 114. The skyhawks, like I said in my e-mail, we see often. The second aircraft that was fired upon by the skyhawks had a much longer and leaner body type.

At first we thought it must be some sort of training exercise, until the “skyhawk” fired upon the other aircraft. My teenage daughter and I were watching closely, because the noise these planes make is very loud and hard to ignore. When we saw the shot fired, I yelled at my daughter to get into the house. My husband and 2 sons were watching from our deck, and were amazed by the events. I hope this helps.
