Dear Sue,

Thank you for your heartfelt written support for Steve who, in spite of all adversities, continues to inspire, uplift and ground his readers and listeners in faith and reality.

Sometimes all one truly needs in times of serious predicament is a real friend who effectively stands up for you without being asked to. I believe you showed Steve both.

It may be hard for him to realize he is actually living in such times that he would need such support but at the same time awesome that he has actually been able to attract such a high quality circle of friends and coworkers.

His ability and calling to introduce and guide people into a dramatically changing reality which calls for unprecedented personal and collective responsibility is a difficult, but necessary message to convey. However, most people - when confronted with life threatening information - will do the utmost to negate, disqualify or even deny that information to remain in their status quo or comfort zone. When the information cannot be disregarded and is presented in the highest quality possible and stands strongly in all possible contexts (multi-contextual truth) most will resort to 'killing the messenger' instead. When ignoring, marginalizing, attacking or even criminalizing the messenger in their professional identity is not effective, people who have the highest stakes in upholding the old paradigms and their concurrent power positions often resort to attacking the actual person, trying to find weakness, lack of integrity or other 'sins'. As we are all vulnerable and maybe even flawed by being human it is extremely difficult no to be affected under these attacks.

However, as this is the only way NOT to deal with reality as it unfolds which is demonstrated by the messenger actually living his or her truth (not just proclaiming it), this is actually the last resort of the systemic opponents other than actually attacking that person to seriously injure or even kill them. As a forerunner unlike any I have come across in our time, Steve is experiencing the full consequences of his leadership comparable only to great (Biblical) leaders in the past. He is way beyond the human collective, even the church of Christ, regarding both his insight and incorporation of developing reality and - in spite of his intentions - embodies both the hope and fear of humanity's future.

His being a actually microcosm reality of the future seriously threatens people's existing paradigms they are desperately trying to hang on to. He both directly and indirectly addresses people to face their personal, collective and spiritual challenges and instructs them to dramatically sober up, prepare and step up to our true human responsibility and disqualifies tempting and misleading alternatives of current and future diabolical systems.

Thus, the level and depth of the accusations expressed against his profession AND person addressing more aspects than quality of information, applied methods and integrity are actual evidence of his caliber leadership.

This may be the hardest thing to accept for him (you know him far better than I naturally so I hope I'm not overstepping) that he is sharing the destiny of Biblical predecessors. Fortunately, all will be more than balanced out in time. Beyond our scope and lifetime I suppose. I'm sure he will continue to demonstrate his watchmanship based on his ability to incorporate truth, answering his calling and performing his duty for God as a free agent in stead of focusing the effect thereof.

Maybe your frustration to co-experience this intense opposition along with Steve can be perceived differently as an affirmation of his and your leadership and friendship.

Warm regards,
