U.S. Able To Attack Within 11 Days Of Order: Preparation For Iraq Operation Has Been Underway For Months

September 5, 2002

When President Bush gives the order to invade Iraq, U.S. military forces based in the Middle East will be ready to start shooting within 11 days, intelligence sources tell WorldNetDaily.

Tens of thousands of troops and vast quantities of armaments and munitions have been moved into place surreptitiously in recent months, report the sources.

The invasion, designed to topple the regime of Saddam Hussein, will begin in November in all likelihood, according to the sources. It will start with days of aerial bombardment of strategic targets.

Other reports confirm the attack is most likely to begin by the end of November.

Bush accuses Iraq of pursuing weapons of mass destruction and supporting terrorism. He has repeatedly vowed to achieve a "regime change" in Iraq with all the tools at his disposal.

As WorldNetDaily reported yesterday, Geostrategy, the global intelligence news service, says the U.S. presence in the area includes at least 1,000 military planners who have prepared for a rapid airlift of forces.
