It's War!, It's On, It's Now

The period 1st to 14th of August will see a dramatic escalation in our global crisis situation. The US Congress retires August 1st, leaving only the cleaners in the House. They won't get to take another meaningful vote.

Anyway, it would probably have more effect if the office cleaners voted in their absence. It's called "a window of opportunity." That window WILL be used.

When I say "WILL" I do not mean MAY be used, or MIGHT be used. Don't delude yourself that there is any doubt of an imminent war. The upcoming terror attacks will take care of that issue.

And don't take my word for it that there will shortly be very serious terror attacks. What would I know anyway? Instead, take the U.S. Administration's word for it. They should know.

As Chris Flood's, 26th July, 2002 Global Eye informs: " ...Dick Cheney, tells us that "the prospects of a future attack are almost certain; not if, but when." Bush's FBI director, Robert Mueller, tells us: "There will be another terrorist attack. We will not be able to stop it." Bush's warlord, Donald Rumsfeld, tells us: "It is only a matter of time."

"And now Bush's point man on constitutional protection tells us -- openly -- that we can "forget about civil rights" when this unstoppable and absolutely certain new terrorist attack finally occurs."

Chris can tell it like it is. After all, his Global Eye column is carried in the Moscow Times. Remember when we used to snigger at the lack of freedom of expression among those dumb Commies. Who 's laughing now, eh? Not me.

These days, as I two-finger-type my way through this article, I have to pause to check individual characters, in case any might get me in trouble. Oops! almost hit a tilde.

Back to the War. Just in case there is still some doubt in your mind, have a read of this tidy little tidbit from UPI -bastion of free expression in the West.

UPI Beirut, reports July 30th, 2002 that: "Osama bin Laden's al Qaida network will carry out a series of operations in August...the London-based Ash Sharq al-Awsat newspaper reported Tuesday. Sources [said] al Qaida had completed plans for its operation. Targets were not mentioned, however."

"Preparations are under way and what remains is only the execution," the sources said via e-mail. They also said bin Laden was well [,and] al Qaida [was] reorganizing its ranks ...and carrying out attacks in various countries of the world against US interests."

Well I got news for the fanatics in al Qaida. They better gear up quick, before the US Administration gets it's retaliation in first. I am struggling to predict. It's a toss-up whether the bombs fall before the market does. South America is falling apart and the market is strolling along as if the falls of the last few weeks never took place. Of course it's easy to manipulate the market with paper dollars. It's going to be a photo finish. Market just ahead -with the bombs coming up on the rails.
