Bomb Explodes in Tel Aviv Suburb

JERUSALEM — A bomb — believed to be set off by a suicide attacker — exploded Wednesday in the Tel Aviv suburb of Rishon Letzion, and Israeli media reported there were dozens of casualties.

Two are dead besides the bomber, 33 are injured, five critically.

Police said ambulances and emergency personnel were racing to the scene after the bomb went off on Rothschild Street in the middle of the town south of Tel Aviv.

A suicide attacker blew himself up in a pool hall in the same town on May 7, killing 15 Israelis.
