IDF Destroys Smuggling Tunnel in Gaza Strip

Army units, backed by Border Police forces, destroyed a Palestinian-dug tunnel used for smuggling war materiel in the southern Gaza Strip overnight.

Soldiers arrested three wanted Palestinians in conjunction with the tunnel, found near Rafah.

Elsewhere, IDF operations continued in the Balata refugee camp near Nablus in the northern West Bank.

Two bomb workshops were discovered and seven Palestinians were detained, Army Radio reported.
