Subject: The Air-Aid Masks

The Department of Correction “Special Operations Unit” tested the Air-Aid Mask inside the Draper Institution. The S.O.U. tested the masks in a force cell situation. Oleoresin Capsicum (O.C.) was introduced just before entry. During entry, Officers (Wearing Air-Aid Masks) became exposed for an approximate time of five ( 5) to seven (7 ) minuets. These Officers experienced very slight discomfort from the chemical. The only downfall of the mask, (for S.O.U.) was the mask fogging the helmet’s face shield.

The Dept. of Corrections “Special Operations Unit” “HIGHLY” recommends the Air-Aid mask to officers inside the Institution & County Jails, for convenience & dependability of the mask working!

The Special Operations Unit thanks you for the opportunity to test this mask.
