GET YOUR ARMOR ON QUICK

lst Dream: July 26th 4:30 a.m.
I saw this figure (man), dark gray almost black riding on a black horse with armor on, it was a head on look, like sitting in front of a huge movie screen and this rider and horse was headed straight thru the screen. Behind this rider was bellowing smoke, almost looked like kicking up dust but it was pitch black. I lay there watching this thing for a few minutes and said- "get my armor on quick", so I very quickly put on the FULL armor of God. As the rider came right to the end of the screen, it lifted as a cloud and went up in the sky. Never did I feel threatened, I just remembered I needed to get the armor on. No fear was in me.

As the cloud of black lifted to my left I saw this white- a lot of white- so white that you had to look very close to make out what was going on. There in the distance was a Light House with this little light in it. I said "is that a Light House in Heaven'? Then I could see a line of people coming up to a gate of clouds and as they came up, Jesus was there to greet them and all the while the little light in the Light House kept blinking.

2nd dream: July 29th
In my prayer room is a picture. It is by Thomas Kincaid called the Prayer for Peace. Although it was about Israel in my dream it was far different.

In the dream- I saw Jesus standing above a large mass of cities. It was the United States and Jesus' white robe was flapping in the wind. There was a red glow below; the United States was on fire. As He looked out He said "America, America" and then something more that I did not catch. So I laid there trying to sing the song America the Beautiful. It was as if I was part of the 180 movie but the question was "can you sing the song America the Beautiful" and I could only remember a small bit of it. Nothing I would think Jesus would have said. Then I was reminded when Jesus prayed over Jerusalem in Luke 13:34 & 35.

I said, Lord is this from you or am I coming up with all this stuff, I have never had dreams like this, and never this often.

I prayed while I was in bed that I could get back to sleep and would deal with this in the morning. Sleep came and all was well. For me unless I get up and write down what it was I was suppose to do the next day, it does not get remembered. Not this time! As soon as my feet hit the floor the Holy Spirit reminded me of the assignment. Below is the song.

America the Beautiful
Words by Katharine Lee Bates,
Melody by Samuel Ward

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

O beautiful for pilgrim feet
Whose stern impassioned stress
A thoroughfare of freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America!
God mend thine every flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy liberty in law!

O beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife.
Who more than self their country loved
And mercy more than life!
America! America!
May God thy gold refine
Till all success be nobleness
And every gain divine!

O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

O beautiful for halcyon skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the enameled plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till souls wax fair as earth and air
And music-hearted sea!

O beautiful for pilgrims feet,
Whose stem impassioned stress
A thoroughfare for freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till paths be wrought through
wilds of thought
By pilgrim foot and knee!

O beautiful for glory-tale
Of liberating strife
When once and twice,
for man's avail
Men lavished precious life!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till selfish gain no longer stain
The banner of the free!

O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till nobler men keep once again
Thy whiter jubilee!

Thank you for continuing the Sunday night "services" on Hagmann & Hagmann. It's become an important part of our week and we look forward to it as I'm sure many do.
