Just this last night, I had a very disturbing dream. I woke up several times throughout the night with this dream in my mind each time with a bit more understanding of what it could mean.

15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,

This dream started off with my wife and I and a couple of other people on vacation in Israel. We were staying in a hotel in the city of Jerusalem. As the dream progressed, we decided we needed to leave the city. So we got in a car and drove North of the city towards Syria.



We came to an intersection on a highway and pulled off the road. Looking over the road running perpendicular to the highway we were on there was a slight rise on the far side. Over this rise came an American tank, an M1 Abrams. It headed West towards the Gaza Strip. Immediately following the M1 over the hill, came a pair of Russian T-90 tanks. They were following the M1 Westward towards Gaza.



At this point I turned to my wife and said, "Are the Russians helping us or are they going to shoot us in the back?"



When I finished saying that, three more vehicles came over the rise. It was three more Russian vehicles. They were wheeled rocket launchers of a type I am not familiar with. But they were painted in the same color scheme as the T-90's that just drove by. They were similar, though not identical, in appearance to the American Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS). This is the closest approximation I have but obviously they were flagged as Russian and varied from the MLRS in that the MLRS is tracked and these were wheeled. The tips of the rockets were also visible in the launcher.



These vehicles stopped right on the road in front of us and raised their rocket pods as if ready to fire. Then a man dressed in black track pants and a black long sleeved t-shirt, who I recognized, came walking past on the road. He had a dog and he looked at us and said "It's going down."



With that we all turned and moved up into the Golan Heights (obviously time and distance can work differently in a dream or vision). From the top of the Golan Heights we could see the entire country of Israel. As soon as we looked out over Israel, the first thing I saw was the Abrams tank we had just seen drive by, firing on Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip. Immediately the two Russian T-90's, positioned behind the Abrams each fired an anti-tank missile from their turrets directly into the back of the Abrams, destroying it.



Then the three wheeled Russian rocket launchers on the road turned their rocket pods South toward Jerusalem and opened fire. Rockets landed all over Jerusalem and we stood on top of the Golan Heights utterly stunned.



At this point the dream ended and I woke up deeply troubled. My first thought was "oh no, not now, we aren't ready!" Closely followed by the next thought which was this verse:

Zechariah 12:3King James Version (KJV)

3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

As I mentioned. This woke me up several times through the night. I have my opinion of what i think this dream means. I do not believe it is completely literal. To me, given what i know of current geopolitics, I believe this is a peek behind the so called curtain showing a much bigger picture of the world than just what is going on in Jerusalem. Though having said that, the meaning on the surface is also quite provocative. I would love to hear your thoughts.
