The enemy is not stronger, the Christian soldier is unprepared to fight The church is being trampled because it won’t stand for what is right.
Where is the salt of the earth to be found?
It has lost its savor and lies upon the ground.
It is nothing more than surfacing for the road
A place where no seed can possibly grow.
The salt is being trampled now underfoot
Kicked like the dust, blown like soot.
And why has the salt lost its savor?
Because we have given to the enemy much favor.
The soldiers are being trodden upon
With battles lost it seems the enemy has won
Have the soldiers of the cross become so weak?
Strength is still available but the soldiers are all asleep.
The enemy is not stronger, the Christian soldier is unprepared to fight
The church is being trampled because it won’t stand for what is right.
We have laid down in surrender and our armor is left to rust.
The soldiers are being trampled because they laid down in the dust.
The church is not dead, though some are as cold as death
Yet the church is not alive, there is no fire in its breath.
The spirit of God cannot exist in such a lukewarm atmosphere
Where the opinions of the world are all that is held dear.
There is no more time to right the wrongs that dwell within the body
The remnant must remove itself from the congregation of the haughty.
The mockers and the scoffers will weep because the time has now expired
Everything is now in motion and what once was prophecy will now transpire.
Perhaps there is no time to do all that is required to make great preparations
But the warnings of the watchmen can be followed right now, without hesitation.
The warning to repent and be in right standing before the Lord.
Perchance there is time to pray today before the unleashing of the sword.
Put on the whole armor of God and be prepared to stand
You cannot wear the helmet of Salvation if your head is in the sand.
The time is now for Christians soldiers to get up off the ground
Already across the globe many are hearing the trumpet sounds.
It is time for the church to get out of the dirt and stand up:
Even as Moses was commanded to “stand before Pharaoh” so we must stand
“In the liberty wherein Christ has made us free” we must stand
“Against the wiles of the Devil” we are commanded to stand
Putting on the whole armor of God “in the day of evil we must do all to stand.”
Time for preparation is gone it is time, “in one The enemy is not stronger, the Christian soldier is unprepared to fight
The church is being trampled because it won’t stand for what is right. Spirit to stand fast”
We have been called, entreated by the apostle Paul, “in the Lord to stand fast.”
To the believer is the promise that “we live, if in the Lord we stand fast.”
You must choose to stand now, for even this moment for repentance will not last.
We must stand today; this is the appointed hour, “for on the day of wrath, who can stand?”
Do not attempt to stand in your own strength; it is only upon the Rock that you can stand.
We stand with fortitude knowing behind us and before us the Lord Himself does stand.
If you choose not to stand today, what will you say when you ultimately before God must stand?
