OHIO: Mailmen are told: They Have No FIRST OR SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS WHEN THEY PUT ON THEIR MAIL DELIVERY UNIFORMS
Steve and Hawk,
Just came in from getting the mail. Talked with the mailman. They had a meeting this morning. They were told that once they put on their uniform they no longer have a first and second amendment "RIGHT". This is a result of a resident in Cinncinnati, Ohio who voiced their own opinion to a mailman and then asked what he thought. The mailman responded, but it was a differing opinion. So, the resident called the local Post Master and issued a complaint against this mailman.
Our mailman along with the other Iraqi vets and Nam vets that are mailmen just looked at each other... in disgust... They were speaking to each other afterwards saying in so many words: 'so THIS is what we put our lives on the line for.... to come home and have our freedoms taken away from us by our OWN government. And we thought we were risking our lives to PROTECT OUR FREEDOMS'.
