Cutting down trees and putting in a dirt road that ran parallel to the highway. Tank Trails" that run parallel to the road to keep tanks from damaging the asphalt roads.
Q-Alert: Someone is spending a lot of money to raise the height of many
bridges all across our country, sometimes only six to eight inch's. They
just raised the height of a railroad bridge in Princeton, WV by about two
feet. They said an SUV hit the support and they had to repair the damage.
They did no work to the support at all, just raised the height about two
Also I have heard of trees being cut down along many highways across our
country, so when they started cutting trees along I-77 just north of
Princeton WV, I began to keep an eye on what they were doing. Cutting down
trees and putting in a dirt road that ran parallel to the highway. After
watching the work for several weeks, I realized I had seen these before,
when I was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. They look like "Tank Trails" that
run parallel to the road to keep tanks from damaging the asphalt roads.
The dirt trails are to steep for cars, but just wide enough for a tank.
They are spending a lot of money to do this, they have to cut away a lot
of rock from the mountain to put these trails in. Put together with whats
going on all around the country, I find it very interesting! MILITARY VETERAN OBSERVATION
