Vision of Persecution 5/2/91
I was in Exaltation at in Bible College I was praying in the spirit. I
saw an angel with a staff fly into the hall and land on the platform next
to the podium. The angel said, "I have a message who will receive it? I
raised my hand and said I will receive it. The angel came to me and stuck
his staff into my spirit and just stood there for a while. Then he left.
Nothing happened for a few minutes. Then I began to see something unfold
in the spirit. I saw the USA. As I watched the heavens above the USA
opened. Several large angels came through the opening and positioned
themselves at the corners of the USA. I saw written across the heavens the
words:

C H R I S T I A N S

Then I saw coming out of the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans a hoard of demons
so rapid and all at once they took everyone by surprise. They looked like
slugs (snails) coming out of the oceans. Their focus was against
Christians and the Church. They drove inland toward the center of the USA.
The Christians formed a unified circle in the center of the USA (over
several states) with their backs towards each other and began to fight back
at the demonic hoards. The demons were coming against the Christians from
the air and on the ground. One Christian used the Word of God in power and
the Word went from his mouth like a lightning bolt and hit the demon in the
air. The demon was paralyzed and fell to the ground as dead. A Christian
next to this Christian saw the effects of using the Word of God in power
and he prayed against the demonic hoards coming on the ground. This demon
was also paralyzed as the Christian used the Word of God in prayer and
power. Then the rest of the church saw the effects of the Word of God
being used in faith and power had on the devil and his demon forces. I
then saw the reduced in size church all using the Word of God in power and
the Word was coming from their mouths like lightning bolts. The lightning
bolts looked like bullets firing from the mouths of the Christians. The
Word of God was coming from the mouths of the Christians and hitting the
demons in the air and on the ground. After each Christian would release
the Word of God the Christian next to him would pray and release the Word
of God in prayer. It looked like a Gatling gun being fired. The demons
were falling from the air and being paralyzed on the ground. The
Christians were using the Word of God to hold back the demonic onslaught
and the warfare came in check. The vision ended.
Interpretation:
A flood of filth and persecution is coming against the Christians and the
church in the USA like never before. Much of the church in the USA will be
overrun by the persecution but there will be a remnant powerful church that
will stand its ground against the enemy and will keep Satan and his forces
from completely forcing the church underground. These Christians that are
left will be strong in the Lord and will learn how to use the word of God
effectively against the devil and his forces. They that know their God
will display great strength. The persecution will have the following
effects on the Church.
The Church will be greatly reduced in size. Many Christians will fall
away because of the persecution.
The Lord will use this persecution to bring the Church into unity.
The Church will discover that the real enemy is Satan and not the people
persecuting the Church.
The Church will learn to use the Word of God in power and form a unified
circle (like sheep who protect their young from wolves) and protect the
young Christians.
The Church will rise up using Spiritual Warfare against the enemy and
defeat the enemy with the Word of God and the persecution will be checked.

The Church will be strengthened in power and do many mighty works.

Psalm 18:14 He sent out His arrows and scattered the foe, Lightnings in
abundance, and He vanquished them.
Psalm 144:1-6 A Psalm of David. Blessed be the LORD my Rock, Who trains my
hands for war, And my fingers for battle-- 2My lovingkindness and my
fortress, My high tower and my deliverer, My shield and the One in whom I
take refuge, Who subdues my people under me. 3LORD, what is man, that You
take knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that You are mindful of him? 4Man
is like a breath; His days are like a passing shadow.5Bow down Your
heavens, O LORD, and come down; Touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.
6Flash forth lightning and scatter them; Shoot out Your arrows and destroy
them.
The lightning bolts are the arrows of the Lord. The Lord sends forth
shafts of light (like laser beams) to vanquish the enemy. This is what is
accomplished thru prayer and spiritual warfare.
Habakkuk 3:3-4 God came from Teman, The Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah
His glory covered the heavens, And the earth was full of His praise. 4His
brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His hand, And
there His power was hidden.
Zech. 9:14 Then the LORD will be seen over them, And His arrow will go
forth like lightning. The Lord GOD will blow the trumpet, And go with
whirlwinds from the south.
