UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DELUSION
You spoke of war, a war that’s coming
Should we prepare? Should we be running?
Won’t the government protect us if war comes to our land?
This talk of war frightens people and it’s not in our hands

The leaders of the nations will have a diplomatic solution
After all we’re a global society with global institutions
If we could but rid ourselves of the dangerous instigators
You know the religious fanatics aren’t they the freedom haters?

Why can’t we just get along and be completely tolerant?
So what if a state allows a ritual satanic sacrament?
We should accept each other and give matrimony to the gays
Isn’t it the Christians who want to take welfare checks away?

Those who want to carry guns are scary and dangerous indeed
We have plenty of policemen that will help us if we need
We should make laws to stop the right to carry arms
Then we could all live in peace not fearing any harm

Some people just don’t understand the Constitution must be free to change
It is the old ways, absolutes and dogma that put us all in chains
No, I don’t think I’ll prepare or try to runaway
There will be a new election and new leader to save the day.

There is nothing unusual coming from the sky
And gmo’s will feed the world so that men won’t die
The unusual weather and killer storms that we now experience
It comes from global warming caused by automobiles carbon interference
There’s just too many people is what I’ve been taught
We need to fall in love with nature so she’s no more distraught
The Christians should leave abortion alone it is a woman’s choice
Abortion is not a subject that preachers should give voice

Homosexuality isn’t a choice it’s in the genes their DNA
How sad we teach this lie leading more astray.
The church embraces sin and practices values clarification,
While ignoring the teachings of repentance, salvation and sanctification.

Islam is a religion of peace and the President strives for peace
While Christians die around the world because of their beliefs.
Collectivism is the popular message that is preached today
And world peace could be achieved if Israel wasn’t in the way.

Does this sound like men you know? Do men believe these lies in the face of truth?
Everywhere the warnings sound yet there is no repentance and unrighteousness is loosed
Fools shout their foolish words receiving not the warnings or the Watchman’s cry
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:”
