My family and I want to thank all of you that have prayed and stood with us for Pastor Bruce's recovery. I have never met you or seen your precious faces but I and my family were greatly strengthened by your hearts of love for us and we gave Glory to God for you. One day when we are all with Him, I believe I will be able to thank you face to face. The word says that we need one another, and you were there for us not only in prayer but financially too. I stand in awe of the great love of God that I experienced from your hearts. It is truly unlike anything I have ever known, and is a true testimony of His life lived through you.
Today Bruce stands whole before the Lord experiencing the glorious beauty of heaven and the face of our Lord. We miss him so much, but we are rejoicing for him. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" (2Corinthians 5:8) and that takes all the sting out of death. In John 6:50 Jesus said that if we will eat the Bread that came down from heaven which means to live and walk in Him, then we shall never die. This promise is given to all of us who love Him, that in one moment we will pass from this life into the next life with Him. Bruce is living the promise!
As for us, we will continue the vision and the work of the Lord and the Lord will and is healing us as we go. Bruce and I have had no other goal in our lives than to live and work for the Him. Hebrews 12:1 says "let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." and that is what I, my family, and my beloved church family will be doing until He comes. Bruce's life will always be alive in our hearts and the words of the Lord that he has given to so many around the world will remain alive in their hearts accomplishing what it was sent to do.
Thank you again my precious brothers and sisters in Christ, for truly loving us with your hearts and your hands. It will be forever branded upon my heart. I pray for all you as well that you will be strengthened in your hardships and that you will be fully surrounded by the power of His Presence, and that you will press forward, no matter what the obstacles, to carry the torch of His Love until you can say "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2Tim 4:7.
May His Strength and Peace sustain you all your days!
Love you all,
Pastor Sue
