Hi Steve I went to the local health food store in spokane (huckleberrys)
they sell mostly organic, so the price point is higher. They had no whole
chickens, the sighn said expecting more on Thursday boneless chicken was
almost 7 dollars a pound, and organic 90% lean ground beef was 7.99 a
pound. They had less meat of all kinds in the case. The canned foods,
pastas,and cereals, were half full, but faced up well to look full. Most
bulk food was also 3/4 to 1/2 full. The nuts, like cashews, pecans were
1/2 or less full. The over all feeling was this store has 1/2 or less of
normal food stock. I also went to the local Safeway, they only had 5 whole
foster farms chickens ( a Washington brand) the only other chicken they had
was some crappy safe way brand that was spread throughout the chicken
section. Normally they have 3 different brands to choose from. Ground beef
was 6.49 per lb. the canned food was sparse but faced well to look
full,cereal, pastas, oatmeal and other storables were lacking, the over all
census was that this store was 1/2 or less. What do you think 1 to 3 hours
for food riots to start? It won't take long to clean out stores with what
they have on hand. By the way the crappiest gmo no nutrition food was
plentiful, in Safeway.
