And a footnote; a few guys I know were in Afghanistan chasing Taliban and they were in these mountains, which are loaded with cave systems, and they ran into some 12 foot tall hairy human sort creatures. He said when they saw them their jaws dropped. He had heard from other platoon's about these huge Sasquatch type creatures and from the locals as well. It's rumored by the locals that they are some mystical creature. Anyway, he said there were several of them and they just stared at them and then disappeared into the caves. Don't know what you make of this but the guys that told me aren't Privates, these guys have spent most of the last 13 years of their lives in the ME. So I consider them very credible. They know that country quite well. I'd have them in my unit anytime.
As one of them jokingly told me, " There's some strange bleep comin out of them thar hills!"
