I cannot imagine spending $15 for a dozen eggs, but it seems very likely this will happen.
My sister is the Quality Control Manager for a major bread company in
Atlanta. She just told me that the egg packing managers just informed them
that they anticipate raising the prices of the eggs 150% next quarter
(August) due to the Avian bird virus that has hit American chicken
factories. This will have a trickle down effect on all foods made with
eggs...bread, pastries, etc. increasing the cost of these items as well. I
urge your readers to start raising their own chicken for eggs now to
prepare in advance for this. I currently raise my own chickens and sell the
eggs at our local market for $5 per dozen. I cannot imagine spending $15
for a dozen eggs, but it seems very likely this will happen.
God bless you for your devotion to Him and His ministry.
