A couple weeks ago I was asleep and had a dream that frightened me awake. I live in a tiny town of only 2 streets. In the dream I was in a house on the lake street. I heard a funny noise so instead of opening the door wide open like I normally do in a town where everybody knows everybody, I peeked out the door. Across the street on the doorstep of a house stood 2 men dressed in black uniforms. One was watching as the other kicked in the door and drug the people out. I looked to my right to see about 3 blocks down the street. (the dream switched to the other street) All up and down the street on both sides of the street, were people of all ages, male and female, down on their knees with their hands locked behind their heads. Standing behind the kneeling people were more of these black uniformed men with rifles in their hands pointed at the heads of many of the men. I quickly shut the door and turned around looking for a place to hide. At first I wanted to hide under the bed or in the closet like a child would hide from the "boogie man". I knew they would find me there. Instead I backed up against a solid wall, and standing in plain sight, but knowing they would not see me, I began speaking Psalm 91. I woke up with my heart pounding.

I do not know when this will happen, but my past experience tells me that because I can remember every tiny detail and can "see" the dream in my head when I repeat it, it will surely happen one day.
