One hour before sighting happened in CA, my husband, children and myself witnessed the same thing here in Spanish Fork Utah off the second Spanish Fork exit at 7pm MST. A friend said she saw it 30 minutes north of me as well. I wrote down the details the night it happened and emailed it to LA Marzulli, Trunews, and Skywatch with no response. I am 45 minutes south of Salt Lake City and our sighting was so close that my husband thought upon approach that the light was a bright highway street light before it took off leaving a plasma gas like glowing cloud trailing behind with a glow that remained after the light was gone.
