Steve... my brother went to make a payment to BOA and the guard (I've observed guards at a Citibank too) told my brother that BOA was having a nationwide outage.
I've seen nothing in the news except at the above link... also, they are going to automated tellers exclusively, you can talk to someone through an intercom.
