FIRST RESPONSE TO MY WIDOWS REGISTRY-BRETHREN LET US RISE TO THE OCCASION-SEE PREVIOUS ALERT
Hi Steve,
I was in tears reading your willingness
to help the grieving widows..I am writing to see if I qualify in that
category..About 15 years ago I had the privilege of leading an epileptic
man to the Lord who then too served others faithfully until his death..I
continued to work and commit my time to serving as a missionary and
teacher..after a while i
was able to improve his quality of life though nutrition greatly
minimizing the seizure activity . Long story short we got engaged and
bought a farm which he lived on until he went to be with the Lord..I was
just about to retire after 50 years serving the Lord- 20 years in prison
ministry and evangelizing and teaching womens bible studies while doing
secular work to support myself..His unexpected death has left me
destitute.I sold the farm and gave money to bank .am in a foreign country,
live on $271 a month since I was self employed so I could do outreach
work..I will be 70 years old next year..am on a fixed income have no
vehicle no medical and worse there is no Christian support for the
elderly.and.alone..The Lord is always faithful.
altho the marriage was never consummated physically or legally because he
died do I qualify to write a testimony for help from the true
Christians..thanks for your wonderful outreach to us. Teresa
