Hi Steve, I was in Redland OR yesterday at my brothers property helping them evac the area and harden the property from the coming wild fire. He lives on (REDACTED SO NO RETRIBUTION POSSIBLE). The night before fire crews staged in his yard to battle the fire coming down the hill to his home and neighborhood. As I arrived on scene yesterday afternoon he received a second immediate evac notice. The fire jumped the clackamas river and all firefighter personnel were pulling back and regrouping. We needed to gauge where the fire was and how long we really had before leaving, again as we wanted more time to prep his property. I drove about 6 or 6 miles south on spring water rd and found a few dozen fire fighters and pulled back and regrouped there. 2 were blocking the road and I asked if they could tell me where the fire line was. He said it was close and to be on the lookout, that "Antifa" was spotted in the area attempting to start more fires. He gave a description of a silver Mercedes sedan with no plates and a black S-10 pickup with gas cans in the bed also with no plates. We headed back finished our work and left. We did not take Redland Rd because our family was informing us that it was heavily congested. We took back roads towards Estacada and connected to 224 and got out. This should line up with other reports.
