A WORD FOR ALL PASTORS TO IMPLEMENT NOW! It was then 22 years ago that I knew America would suffer famine! A Time to Act: A Report of the USDA National Commission on Small Farms

In 1997 a large group of rural churches in Ohio, Pa, and NY sent me to Washington to testify at the World Food Security Conference on behalf of the family farmers. Just before I testified the head of NOAA testified and stated that the US was relying on irrigation to grow its food; water from aquifers that was being withdrawn and not replaced. He stated "If America does not return to growing food on marginal land relying on natural rainfall it would suffer famine"
It was those very giant corporate farms that were putting the small family farms growing our food on marginal land using natural rainfall out of business. The Commission on Small Farms resulted from those hearings. I testified at the hearings and heard horror stories from small family farmers from all over the country about how giant corporations used their power to force them out of business. The Commission on Small Farms presented a list of recommendations to USDA to save the small family farm. USDA rejected all those recommendations and they resigned in protest.
It was then 22 years ago that I knew America would suffer famine!
The huge amounts of money given by giant corporate farms and food processing monopolies to government officials and the members of both political parties that decided the fate of America. The Tyson/Clintion scandal was just the tip of the iceberg:
Under the guidance of an attorney representing Tyson Foods, Hillary Clinton made a $98,540 profit from a $1,000 initial investment in less than one year trading commodity futures.
Unless Jesus returns before next winter your only hope of surviving the coming hyperinflation in food and fuel will be to turn your home and church into a small family farm.J.G.
