My son-in-law manages three organic food farms in California, Idaho, and Washington State. He is warning family and friends to get ready for severe food shortages starting this spring.

He has met with the farmers. The California area was hit hard with flooding wiping out crops. Idaho Russet potatoes were hit hard wiping out tons of potatoes. What was left was sold to McDonalds. Reds and Golden’s will be available.

My son-in-law is working with farmers to try and keep them supplied with vegetables for meat, chicken, etc. If farmers don’t grow, no food in the future. He is getting lots of phone calls from the mid west and east coast, business trying to buy all he has. He has had to turn them down so the produce will sell locally to current customers.

This Ohio spill has contaminated a lot of land and water. Business trying to find clean food. There will be severe shortages starting this spring.

Here in my daughters own words is what her husband is letting her know. Look for where your food is produced because of the dioxin contamination.

Son-In Law had a meeting yesterday with the farmers and now the almond orchards were destroyed. he's meeting today to find out the extent. he said it'll be worse than expected this year. Other crops wiped out due to flooding.------> Also getting lots of calls from the states back east, even some midwest, and here to buy up all their product. they are telling people no because they are keeping the product local only,he's also working with the other farms to supply farmer families with produce. potatoes cucumbers squash zucchini onion berries etc, not everything but enough to sustain us. tell all you can to stock up now. ----> Food the west coast will be getting is coming from Mexico. They have already ramped up production and are very busy due to the shortsges already hitting California and the west coast. We are telling our friends to not panic, but if you can afford it buy seeds and extra dry and canned goods when you shop and also
telling our neighbors we are close with to prepare for hard times and possible crime as food shortages start to come.
