My brother is a police officer in northern Arizona and his department is down to their last 3000 rounds of .40 cal ammo and are having a hard time getting more. They need to hold their annual qualifications for shooting soon and if the department doesn't have the ammo, the officers will need to use their own .40 cal or risk not re-qualifying to remain in their jobs! DHS has bought up this particular caliber especially, knowing most Police Departments use it.
