HAS FOOD RATIONING SOFTWARE ALREADY BEEN PLACED INTO SUPERMARKET CASH REGISTERS?
Steve,
A couple of years ago our local food pantry was short on some staple food
items. Me and my wife decided to go to our local Save-A-Lot food store to
get a few cases to donate.
Each time the cashier scanned an item the screen went red and said "over 20
of this item". The cashier would then have to over ride it. My immediate
thought was they are getting ready for food rationing.
This year our church was putting together 50 Thanksgiving baskets for the
poor. We donated a couple of items (50 each) and again the red screen that
said "over 20 of this item" Which, again required the over ride.
So for over 2 years this small rural Indiana town has had a system in
place to limit the size of a food purcase. If its set up in our town I'm
sure it's everywhere.
FYI Save-A-Lot is a franchise in the midwest, not just a mom and pop
store.
God Bless You and your ministry.
