This morning here in Central AL awoke to the news that Alagasco Natural Gas
supplier, our lone supplier here, had turned off meters during the night
due to big demand due to frigid temps (8 degrees). But they selective
turned off people's meters during the night & in some parts of AL are
leaving them off throughout the day to help recover supply. They were
warning customers where this would be a problem during today to go to
warming stations located in the city centers. Just seems really strange to
so abruptly shorted on natural gas. I've lived here for some 17 years & I
have never seen this happen here before. Anyone else experiencing this?
